FIT ON PURPOSE

The meaning behind the name Fit On Purpose comes from the idea, whatever you do in life, whatever decision you make. Make it with your Purpose in mind. When we truly know ourselves, even when we subconsciously make decisions. We do it with our purpose as the motivation. How do we find our purpose? By sitting with ourselves, really being alone, and asking questions. What do I want out of this world, what do I want to give it, and what do I want to be known as? Yes, even if you don’t care what people think. Then break down your daily routine, think about your actions, and how you treat people. Do they all aline with what you want, what you want to give, and what you want to be known as? If not, it’s time to take charge, make some changes, and replace some actions and thoughts. When you are doing this, you’re doing it On Purpose, which is to fulfill those three wants, and in doing so you’ll  Find Your Purpose.

OR to make it plain and simple. When you do something for a reason and that reason is true to who you are, and who you want to be? Then you are “Thinking, Doing, Being” On Purpose.

Now bringing that into Health and fitness

When people exercise they do it “On Purpose”. You don’t just walk into a gym and accidentally land on the treadmill, or move weights around. They do it with a Purpose in mind.

The differences are between those that stick with it, find their goals, and live a healthier lifestyle, to those that just quit. Is the strength of their connection from their actions to their Purpose in life. Which is aligned with what they want to be, what they want to give, and how they want to be known, remember?

If just one of those three “wants” has anything to do with your physical being, your health, looking good, and feeling good. Then your actions have a strong connection to your purpose.

Everyone has their own reason why they go to the gym

There are those that go just to go. Thinking if they are there it’ll make a difference. No effort, no thought into it, no focus. Just going through the motions as they say. Or they go and stick with it for a couple of days, weeks, maybe even a month or two, and then…. Fall off.

Now, why did they fall off? Did they not have a strong enough purpose, did they lose it? Maybe they had one, and they were focused on it too, but just didn’t have the guidance to reach it.  “Fit On Purpose” helps you find that strong, true purpose and Stick with it. Making it a part of your lifestyle.

The challenge isn’t all physical, It’s mental too. We help you get through and achieve both.

KNOW YOUR BODY

Understanding your body is the foundation for control and mastery. Just as you can't build an engine without knowing the vehicle or use a tool effectively without understanding its function, you must first know your body to achieve your fitness goals.

At Fit on Purpose, we emphasize isolating and strengthening basic physical functions crucial for any fitness objective. Stabilization, core strength, balance, body control, and muscle-mind connection are essential components that must be addressed to lay a solid foundation for progress. By breaking down the complexities of the body and working on each element systematically, you pave the way for long-term success and prevent future setbacks.

This goes for your Nutrition as well. The more you know about the food you eat, the easier the decisions get when making your food choices. Health and fitness are ongoing practices that require consistent effort, much like paying your monthly bills. Neglecting these fundamental aspects can lead to setbacks both during your journey and after reaching your goal. Remember, neglecting your body's needs is akin to losing it. In fitness, as in life, if you don't use it, you'll lose it!

CONTROL YOUR BODY

Exercising correctly is the main focus here. Knowing the form is one thing, but using the correct muscle groups to stay in form, is another. You could say “knowing your body” bleeds into controlling your body and that's true. But now it's time to understand how to use your muscles efficiently while exercising and for when you're out in the world unconsciously. On a neuro functional note, The more you do a movement the easier your body will get how to do it naturally . Same with Muscle activation, the more you activate that muscle group in an isolated and controlled manner the easier it will be later to strengthen them when using heavier weights, or combining mutable muscle groups at the same time (compound movements).

In the Nutrition realm, we are looking to practice what we have learned. Here is where your self control will be tested, and you will find what style of eating habits is best for you  in your daily routine and lifestyle. With the same goal of living a healthier and more active life.
